Capt. Justin Napior grew up fishing the waters of Southwest Florida . He wishes he had one of those cool stories like his grandpa or dad got him into Fishing but that’s not the case. What he does have is memories of watching Bill dance outdoors as a kid and going behind his grandparents house and fishing all of the freshwater lakes for large mouth bass with his buddies. Justin actually caught his first snook in fresh water while bass fishing when he was around 10 years old. That was a life-changing moment for him- his world was bass fishing and it instantly was taken over with wanting to hunt big snook. Fast forward about 20 years and now he’s a professional guide specializing in snook and tarpon fishing. Justin had friends and family telling him for years he should be a fishing guide but he always ignored it because he didn’t want to turn fishing into a job. Then he realized how much he enjoyed watching other people catch their first snook or tarpon or even a personal best and his passion for guiding started to grow from there. Capt. Napior started his guide service Back Country Culture four years ago. He is a big conservationist and 95% of his fishing is catch and release. He really tries to focus more on the thrill of the hunt, sight fishing snook, redfish, tarpon and many other species. You can find Justin on his days off either fishing with his wife and two little girls or cruising around the backcountry of the Everglades.
