innovative gear for mobile fly anglers

Founded in 2018, Atollas (pronounced Ah-toll-uz) is a fly fishing gear and accessory company headquartered in the Lowcountry of Charleston, SC.

We’re hardcore fly fishers. And we’re on-the-go. While standing on the bow of a skiff stalking tailing redfish gets our blood pumping, we’d rather lace up the wading boots and get closer to the action.

This style of fly fishing requires us to be as minimal as possible. The less gear in tow, the better. Freedom of mobility is the name of the game: be it wading hard-bottom flats, hiking down single-track trails to the river, or chasing fish down in the surf.

So, we started Atollas with a simple mission: design clever, innovative tools for fly fishermen and women who prefer getting the job done on foot.

our first product: The Fly Caddy

You need your flies out there. But sometimes, a quick fly change is required and time is of the essence.

With that in mind, we built the Fly Caddy: a microsized, portable fly storage system designed to provide easy access to your go-to flies. To give the product a home base, we designed a unique docking station that it clips into when not in use.

We’ve since expanded the Fly Caddy series and currently at work developing new fly storage products designed with simplicity, minimalism, and ultimate usability in mind. Stay tuned.

OUR NAMESAKE

Atollas lacked a formal identity early on, It wasn't until the suggestion of researching deep sea creatures was made that we found our muse. The Atolla Jellyfish.

It lives in oceans all around the world, way down in the pitch black depths known as the “Midnight Zone” and is characterized by it’s deep red color as well as it’s unique and entrancing bioluminescent flashes.

The Atolla Jellyfish not only provided our namesake; it inspires both the overall design and toughness of our products.
